Top 10 Trader Joe's Wines
Thursday, May 28, 2009
Jason over at Jason's Wine Blog has updated his list of Top 10 Trader Joe's wines. I know for a fact that his lists are very popular because his guest post on the subject of whether TJ's is a good place to buy wine consistently produces the top exit link from this site (for his prior Top 10 list from the fall of 2008).
Looking through the list, it appears that about a third of the wines look familiar to me from Massachusetts TJs. The Top Pick, the 2007 Castle Rock Mendocino Pinot Noir I haven't seen anywhere in MA- but I have seen the California Cuvee of the same label. The Bogle Petite Sirah is a tasty pick and one that I've also enjoyed. From Sicily, the Archeo Nero D'Avola at around $4-$5 is a ridiculously good wine for the price.
Head on over and have a look at the list.
